Benefits of an automatic car: These cars will not stall as there is no clutch pedal and the pupil does not have to find a "biting point". In addition these cars will not roll back on hills. For many manoeuvers the use of an accelerator is unnecessary as the car will "creep" forwards or backwards as required.
